What payment methods does Made Glow accept?
Made Glow accepts the same payment methods you'd use anywhere else online or in apps. Specifically:
- Apple Pay on iOS — default option for iPhone users; one Face ID tap to pay.
- Google Pay on Android — same convenience on Pixel, Samsung, and other Android devices.
- Credit and debit cards — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and most international cards. Card data is tokenized at entry and stored only by Stripe.
- Made Glow gift cards — purchased in-app and applied at checkout. More on gifting.
How charging works
When you book, we charge a deposit (usually 20% of the service price, set per-pro). The remainder is captured automatically when your pro marks the service complete. Where a refund is due, it returns to your original payment method; your bank determines the exact settlement timing. Made Glow does not guarantee refunds — eligibility is reviewed case-by-case per our terms.
What about HSA/FSA cards?
Most HSA and FSA cards work for certain licensed medical-aesthetic services where your provider issues an itemized receipt — your card may need to clear an additional verification step. Standard cosmetology services (hair, nails, makeup, lashes, brows) generally aren't HSA/FSA eligible. Check your plan administrator.
Cash or Venmo?
Made Glow does not support cash or peer-to-peer payment apps. The platform's booking record, dispute review, and trust-and-safety protections only apply when payment runs through the app. If a pro asks you to pay outside the app, please report it — it's a violation of our pro terms.
Security
Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified — the highest tier. Made Glow only ever sees a payment token, never the card number itself. See our refund policy and terms of service.
